The amazing Lamborghini Aventador Roadster has a base price of 300,000 Euro in Europe. That, based on today’s exchange rate, is about $382,000 USD. But that’s not what it’s going to cost in America. No, in the United States an Aventador Roadster will cost you at least $441,600.
That is of course before you add the $3,700 gas guzzler tax, but no one paying nearly half a million dollar for a car cares about an extra 3 or 4 grand. Is it worth it? Well, if you have that kind of money lying around then hell yes. What you would you rather have: some money in the bank, or this sexy beast?
The Roadster Aventa comes with a two-piece carbon fiber roof, which as we’ve shown you before is not very clever, but it gets the job done. The power comes from the same V12 engine, it has the same ISR single-clutch transmission, and gets the same push-rod suspension. As a result this Lamborghini is one of the fastest open-top cars in the world with a top speed of 350 km/h, and 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of just 3.0 seconds.
