The order books are now open in the UK for the new 2013 Toyota RAV4. The thoroughly upgraded SUV will hit the showrooms from March 2013, starting from £22,595. It comes with either a 2.0-litre Valvematic petrol or a 2.2 liter D-4D diesel, and in three trim levels.
Besides the improved looks, upgraded interior design, and enhanced efficiency, the new RAV4 also comes with lots of new feature. The basic Active grade has 17-inch alloys, air conditioning, Bluetooth, electric windows front and rear, rear privacy glass and front fog lights; the Icon spec’ includes a powered tailgate (now top-hinged for easier loading), a folding function on the powered door mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, part-leather instrument panel trim and dual-zone automatic air conditioning. The Toyota Touch multimedia touchscreen system also features on Icon models, with a DAB digital tuner, rear-view camera and Bluetooth.
