Porsche released a video teasing the new 911 GT3 Cup race car from the 991 Series. As you know, each generation of Porsche 911 spawns a number of racing versions like the Cup and the RSR. It’s the same story with the road-going models; there’s the standards 911s, then the GT3, Turbo, GT2, GT3 RS, and sometimes a GT2 RS.

Now, the fact that Porsche is ready to show us the 991 GT3 Cup must mean the road-going model, the Porsche 911 GT3, is just around the corner ready to be unveiled. That is great news because as most Porsche enthusiasts agree, the GT3 is the finest version of the Porsche 911. It is the best compromise between the standard car and the hard-core RS and GT2 variants.
