Finally, the production version of the 2013 SRT Viper comes to Jay Leno’s Garage for an extensive tour, road test, and, unusual or Jay, some track work. What’s particularly interesting about this film is that SRT CEO Ralph Gilles actually the car to Jay’s garage to have a drive with the man. The new Viper could have been declared the undisputed champion of all American sports cars if it weren’t for the new Corvette Stingray. Sure, the Chevy doesn’t have the power of the mighty Viper, but it has a much more sophisticated chassis, and may very well be faster around the track that this big old bruiser. We’ll see.
