McLaren released a teaser video to both boast their 50 years racing heritage and announce the launch of the new Formula1 car on January 31st. The new car’s full name is Vodafone McLaren Mercedes MP4-28, and it will be driven by Jensen Button and new Mexican driver Sergio Perez.

This new kid is kind of like Lewis Hamilton – now with Mercedes F1 – in his early days; he’s talented and has a hot head. He could be the surprise of the season. As for the car, well, it will be pretty much like the last season car, except for some aerodynamic changes. The teaser shows a car with an unusually high nose. The motor will be same 2.4 liter V8 as before.

This season is the last year for V8 engine. From 2014 they will be replaced with 1.6 liter turbocharged V6 units.
