The new Chinese car maker Qoros, who has set its sights on the European market and wants to become a real player in the green continent, released details of their lineup for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, their first ever auto show.

Qoros is bringing its first production model, Qoros GQ3, to Switzerland. It is a compact sedan with European design, a ton of features including standard infotainment system, almost certainly a very tempting price tag, and a made in China label.

In its official release, Qoros has spent a great deal of time boasting about their in-house developed infotainment system. They say this system, which features an 8-inch touchscreen display, is designed for minimal driver distraction. It has a navigation system, extensive social networking connectivity and the ability for drivers to book dealer service appointments.

Besides the GQ3, Qoros is also unveiling two concept cars at the show: Cross Hybrid Concept and Estate Concept. As the names suggest, the Cross Hybrid is a crossover vehicle the size of Range Rover Evoque, featuring a cool design and, of course, a hybrid drivetrain. The Estate is designed for long-distance travel, and boasts generous and versatile interior space thanks to a high number of alternative seating and luggage storage options.

The hybrid system Qoros has developed for their future cars consists of a petrol engine that drives the front wheel, and an electric motor that powers the rear wheels. When 4×4 is needed, the on-board computer engages both units at the same time.
