Earlier we saw Jay Leno reviewing a very yummy blue Aston Martin Vanquish. Now check out this flat orange one that Motor Trend’s Carlos Lago is driving. Aston has apparently updated its palette with many vibrant new colors. While these colors are not what a typical Aston customer would choose, the Vanquish seems to pull them all off nicely. Carlos takes the Vanquish on a long test drive which begins on the skid pad and ends with a drive through the canyons. As good as this Brit is on the race track, it is even better on the road, playing its intended role of being a large, comfortable, exciting and fast grand tourer.

The problem with this car’s predecessor, the DBS, was that it was too like the DB9, and that made justifying the price tag very hard. The VanQ is in a whole different class. Although we’re still not sure about the £70K price difference.
