Suzuki releases another special edition version of the Swift in the UK. This time it is based on the Swift Sport, and it is limited to just 100 units, each priced at £14,249 which is only 500 quid more than the standard Swift Sport but offers lots more.
The SZ-R limited edition comes with a special Cosmic Black paint job and Ablaze Red roof, rear spoiler and door mirrors plus SZ-R side badging. Inside the cabin it gets numbered door sill guards, red accented gear shift knob and red trimmed carpet mats.
Backing up the SZ-R’s sporty look is a peppy 136HP VVT engine that does 0 to 62 mph in 8.7 seconds and reaches an eventual 127 mph, while returning 44 mpg.
As for the features, the SZ-R gets all the goodies the Swift Sport comes with, including seven airbags, auto air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity and USB port, rear privacy glass and 17-inch wheels. HID Projector headlamps for low and high beam are also fitted as standard.
Suzuki Swift Sport SZ-R goes on sale from March 1st.
