Following the 2014 LaCrosse, Buick revealed a new version of the Regal at the New York Auto Show. Styling changes are subtle in the new model, but it is now chock-full of advanced technologies that enhance safety and the driving experience.
Visually, you can count on the signature wing-shape LED daytime running lamps and LED taillamps on the outside, and a redesigned central instrument panel and console along with a new fashion interior trim combination on the inside.
What the Regal really excels at is safety, with features like new radar- and camera-based safety features – including Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Change Alert, Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert and Collision Mitigation Braking. You also get Adaptive Cruise Control and next-generation IntelliLink, featuring simpler, more intuitive controls and natural speech recognition.
In terms of performance, the 2014 Buick Regal can be had with two powertrains, including a 2.0L turbo available with a Haldex all-wheel-drive system, and a 2.4L engine with eAssist. Sales will begin this fall.
