We know that an all-new Hyundai Genesis is in the works and will be revealed later this year for a 2014 launch, but before that happen the Korean car maker will release an updated version of its Equus luxury sedan in the American market.

Teased here in a dark and mysterious image, the new Equus only gets minor styling changes and interior upgrades. It’ll probably boast a few new technology features, but nothing major, because the Equus itself in line to get totally revamped over the next few years. The same applies to the car’s 5.0 liter V8 TAU engine. It is not likely to be changed from its current 430 horsepower state.

The 2014 Hyundai Equus will be unveiled at the 2013 New York Auto Show.
