Starting from today, Ferrari Museum in Maranello is hosting an exhibition called “Ferrari Supercar. Technology. Design. Myth”. As the name suggests, the exhibition showcases Ferrari’s design and technology, and retraces the story of all of the limited edition special series models built. And yes, it has a special section for LaFerrari.
LaFerrari’s section illustrates both technical content and styling of the car, from the conception and early sketches, to the clay model, and the finished product. You’ll get to know learn about the car’s advanced hybrid powertrain, the clever design of the chassis, and the materials used in building the body.
The second most important model at the exhibition is the legendary 250 GTO, including an example of the 1964 version, and continuing with the 1984 GTO. Then we have the more contemporary super cars such as the F40, the F50 and the Enzo.
The exhibition also features Ferrari’s Formula 1 cars as well as special track and competition-oriented models, such as the GTO Evoluzione, the F40 Competizione, the 599XX and the FXX.
