McLaren doesn’t offer a winter driving program for now, but it seems they really like the idea as they recently sent a couple of 12c Spiders out for some fun int he snow. The 12C Spider is the last thing you would think of when going for snow driving. Apart from the fact that it’s a convertible, the car’s a 600-hp rear-drive supercar. It doesn’t work out there.
McLaren, however, begs to differ. On the proof of these pictures, they believe the 12C is actually quite good fun to toss around in the snow. The car has an ultra-sophisticated suspension system with a super computer monitoring it every millisecond to ensure the wheels are gripping well. So yes, it probably does work. If anything, we bet it is faster than the Ferrari 458 on snow. The Fezza struggles even with wet surfaces.
