A few days ago the Italian design firm Bertone revealed its new concept car for this year’s Geneva Motor Show in form of the Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake, or Jet 2+2 in short. That is a new version of the 2004 Jet 2 based on the Vanquish. Now they announced the old car too is coming to the show with updated styling.

Underneath the Jet 2 is the same as the old 2004 car, but the design is updated to incorporate cues of the latest Vanquish, in a 210mm longer shooting brake format of course. Bertone obviously thinks this body shape is the way to go for the future of car design. The car also gets a new color and more luxurious trims.

The Jet 2 is personal property of Lili Bertone, the president of the Italian design house, who has turned it into a proper four-seater.
