So earlier today we brought you the first official pictures of the new second-generation Porsche Panamera. After that we had a video of the new E-Hybrid model, and now you can read the official details and specs of the car right here. Just like the old model, the new Panamera is a superb car to drive and to live it,  but still sickening to look at.

Since there isn’t much to talk about regarding the car’s styling – it is the same before – let’s dive right into the technicalities, and begin with the Panamera S E-Hybrid, the best blend of performance driving and fuel economy yet. This four-door gran turismo gets a 3.0 liter V6 petrol engine as the main source of power, and a powerful electric motor and high performance battery pack. The electric system is more powerful than the one in the old Panamera hybrid.

Together they make 416 horsepower, which is enough to hit 100 km/h from 0 in 5.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 270 km/h. That is properly fast by anyone’s standards. You can get up to 91 mpg (3.1 liter/100 km) out of this system, and11-22 miles of pure electric drive up to 83 mph.

This hybrid system is a plug-in, which means you can either let the car charge the batteries up, or do it yourself by plugging it in. When connected to an industrial outlet, it can be charged within around two and a half hours via the integrated on-board charger and the standard Porsche Universal Charger (AC), and it can be charged in less than four hours when connected to a conventional household electrical outlet.

The 2014 Panamera also lets go of its V8 engine in the Panamera S model, and replaces it with a new twin-turbo V6. At 430 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque, this engine is even more powerful than the outgoing 4.8 liter unit, while returning a couple more mpgs. Depending on the model, the new car can be had with the seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung PDK dual-clutch transmission, or the eight-speed Tiptronik S automatic.

The lineup of the new Porsche Panamera includes the standard Panamera, Panamera 4, Panamera S, Panamera 4S, Panamera S E-Hybrid, Panamera GTS, Panamera Turbo, Panamera 4S Executive, and Panamera Turbo Executive (pictures below).

Standard equipment on all models includes Bi-Xenon headlights, multi-function steering wheel, automatic tailgate opening, leather interior, dual-zone automatic climate control, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, Porsche Communication Management satellite navigation with seven-inch touch-screen, Bluetooth compatibility, eight-way powered front seat adjustment, front and rear electric windows and a three-year warranty. Four-wheel drive models add Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive.
