Cadillac has come up with a new advertising campaign for the ATS sports sedan that puts the capabilities of the car in perspective in a rather unusual way. The ads tell us about the rigorous tests the ATS has gone through by showing what they can do to some fancy stuff.
So they put a dining room on the shaker platform that tests the car’s chassis, they put a cake in a heat chamber that tests the durability of the ATS, they drag a piano on suspension test track, and they use a high-speed motor to accelerate the gears of a fancy clock.
To be honest we’d rather watch the car in action on a race track – after all, the ATS has one of the best sorted chassis in this segment – but we have to say, it is kinda fun to watch these luxury stuff get smashed!
