Before they hop on a plane and go to Shanghai for the third round of the Formula 1 World Championship, Scuderia drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa were in Maranello for a busy programme of sports, technical and promotional activity. During this programme Alonso got a special treat and took the new LaFerrari hyper car out for a few laps around the Fiorano.

He then drove a 458 Spider back to the factory for a brief tour of the production site, and meet and greet with the employees as it’s a Ferrari tradition. It may not look it, but this actually counts as grind work for F1 drivers!
