This is the Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 50 Anniversario, a special edition of the V12-powered super car designed to celebrate 50th anniversary of the Italian brand. The car is yet to be officially unveiled, but the first official pictures available show a lightly tricked-out Aventador with crazy bumpers.

One would naturally expect more from Lamborghini, but only a few months ago they came up with the super insane Veneno, so you should cut them a bit of slack for lack of imagination on this one. Still, the LP720 looks pretty cool, what with the new front and rear bumpers, and the new side skirts.

AS the name LP720-4 suggests, the four-wheel-drive supercar now boasts 720 horsepower, which is 20 more than the standard car. That won’t make any difference whatsoever, but that’s OK, because the Aventador is capable of doing 0 to 100 km/h i n2.9 seconds and reach 350 km/h.

Although this model celebrates the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini, it is said to be limited to 100 units. It will make its official debut at the Shanghai Auto Show later this month.
