This week, and during a special ceremony at Packington Estate near Solihull that celebrates the brands 65th anniversary, Land Rover will launch a new special and limited version of the Defender for the British market. The Defender LXV Special Edition is an homage to the heritage of the company, and therefore limited to 65 units.

The celebratory model will be available exclusively in 90” Hard Top form, powered by the 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 122PS and 360Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.

What sets this mode apart is all the visual features, including Santorini Black with contrast Corris Grey roof, grille, headlight surrounds and facia and 16-inch Sawtooth alloy wheels. The interior is garnished with exclusive full leather seats with LXV embossed front headrests and unique orange contrast stitching on the seats, steering wheel and centre cubby compartment.

The coolest feature however, is a unique union flag decal at the back! This special edition Defender is priced from £28,765.
