Porsche recently revealed the latest version of its legendary 911 RSR race car, and it’s gearing up for the new season they released an awesome promo clip reflecting on why the RSR badge deserves the respect it is getting. Porsche says the 911 RSR is “the most concentrated form of this classic sports car” they have made to date. A magnificent homage then to the road-going 911 in its 50th anniversary.

Powered by a 460 hp, 4.0-litre six-cylinder boxer engine mated to a ix-speed racing sequential gearbox operated via steering-mounted paddles, the new lighter, brighter RSR may not be a looker, but it has spot on aerodynamic properties and possibly the best-sorted chassis in its class.

The car will take part in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the Le Mans 24 Hours.
