Porsche, as you know, is preparing for a big Le Mans 24 Hours return in 2014. Part of the campaign is creating a great deal of hype and getting as much publicity out of the whole thing as possible, and part of that is boasting their most significant achievements over the years. The latest video of this series reminds us of all the great technological advances that Porsche pioneered in spite of everything that naysayers throw at them.

That is in Porsche’s nature to take on a seemingly impossible challenges, and come up with solutions for them. If they were weak-minded guys who give in easily, they’d move the engine in the 911 years ago. But they stuck with it and engineered their way around the drawbacks of that design. That’s what make this brand special.
