To celebrate the Mustang’s 50th birthday, Ford has teamed up with 50 American companies to present the fans with unique memorabilia bearing Mustang’s exclusive 50th Anniversary logo. The first brand it the make of luxury good Shinola, and they have come up with a special watch.

Shinola’s Mustang tribute 46-millimeter wristwatch with Swiss movements is limited to 1,000 units and features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal face and premium black leather for the band with a screw-down crown. Just like the Mustang, this watch is not very luxurious or sophisticated, but it’s cool and good-looking, and certainly affordable. On the contrary, Hublot’s LaFerrari tribute watch is very sophisticated, but ugly and very expensive.

“Mustang is one of the greatest icons in American manufacturing history,” said Jacques Panis, Shinola’s director of strategic partnerships. “We reached out to Ford because we thought it makes perfect sense, as we share the same passion for craftsmanship and domestic manufacturing.”
