Land Rover USA recently passed the one million fan milestone on Facebook. These days that is a cause for celebration, and so LRUSA decided to treat the fans with a little thank you note in form of a special video which is basically a slideshow of photos submitted by the fans.

This is a nice and creative way of engaging the fans and letting them know that each one of their ‘likes’ count. The effect of social media prowess on sales is debatable, but hey, having a lot of fans is better than having only a few, isn’t it.

“As Land Rover continues to grow in the digital space, we are all thrilled to reach 1 million fans on our official Land Rover USA Facebook page,” said Kim McCullough, Brand Vice President, Land Rover North America. “Land Rover is known for having some of the most loyal and engaging fans, so we wanted to create this interactive video as a means to say thank you for their continued support and love of the brand.”
