In the automotive world Ferrari F40 is a superstar; a hero car , if you will. That is why when one of the remaining F40s crashes or catches fire or whatever, the petrolheads mourn for days. Sadly, another F40 has just been wrecked in Denver, Colorado. And this time it’s a truly sad story, as it’s been murdered by a bloody minivan.
Launched in 1987 to celebrate Ferrari’s 40th anniversary, the F40 is considered by many as the greatest supercar ever because of its raw combination of power and lightness. They made 1,315 F40s in total, each costing nearly half a million dollar back then. These days Ferrari F40 is a priceless collector’s car, which is bad news for the driver of the minivan who wrecked this one. The cost of repairing the F40 can very well bankrupt his insurance company!
