Volvo released a new video chronicling a journey the new S60 Polestar embarked on as part of its testing and development program. With Polestar racing and development driver Robert Dahlgren at the wheel, the car went on a 4000 kilometer journey from Barcelona, Spain, to Jokkmokk, Sweden.
The car was recently confirmed for production and Volvo wants to be sure that the new high performance model lives up to their high standards in terms of safety and reliability.
The production Volvo S60 Polestar is powered by a straight-six turbo engine that makes 350 horsepower ans 500 Nm of torque. It is not as powerful as the 490 hp concept they first showed us, but still, it is pretty quick. 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.9 seconds and the top speed is limited to 250 km/h.
Sales of the S60 Polestar first begin in Australia and then gradually it will reach other markets.
