Following the first announcement about offering the new Twin-Turbo V6 engine in the XTS, Cadillac is now revealing how much you are going to have to pay if you want this torquey engine and luxuriousness of the XTS at that same time. The engine is only offered with the range-topping Premium and Platinum Collections with the Vsport badge.
The fantastic new V6 engine delivers 410 horsepower (306 kW) and 369 lb-ft of torque (500 Nm) in the XTS, making it more powerful than most of the V8s offered by the competition in this class.
Compared to the existing 3.6L dual overhead cam V6, the new engine features new cylinder block casting, upgraded connecting rods, high-performance pistons, improved air intake system with unique cooling system, 10.2:1 compression ratio, and a new direct injection fuel system.
The Vsport Caddy XTS also comes with upgraded 20-inch wheels and a unique grille. It is priced at $63,020, which is significantly more expensive than the base model with the old V6 engine, which costs $45,525.
