Chevrolet has not yet allowed any tuner near the Corvette Stingray, but that hasn’t stopped them from trying to come up with upgrade packages for it. Redline Motorsport, using some heavy Photoshop trickery, is proposing a rather thorough kit for the Stingray, boosting both its performance and visual appeal.
They are talking about a twin-turbo system for the LT1 V8 that powers the new Corvette with potential to make 650 horsepower. If they pull it off, you won’t have to wait for GM to green light the ZR1 version.
Other little touches that add up to make this tuned Corvette much more desirable than the standard car include a coilover suspension system that drops the car, making those large aftermarket wheels pop, and improves its road holding, and a subtle aerodynamic body kit with a new chin spoiler, side skirts, and a new rear diffuser.
They didn’t mention anything about the interior, but by the time this package is ready, they might put something together for that too.
