Words cannot describe how special the Goodwood Festival of Speed is this year. There are lots and lots of amazing cars to check out, both at the pavilions and on the hill, and Aston Martin will bring some of the them finest. There is the CC100 Speedster concept; the V12 Vantage S; and the Vantage GTE race car.

Sadly, the new Vanquish Volante is not coming. But the rest of the lineup is good enough to make up for it. The CC100 Speedster alone could carry a full event. Designed and constructed in fewer than six months at Aston Martin’s global headquarters in Gaydon to celebrate the brand’s centenary, this amazing two-seater speedster sports car features a 6.0-litre V12 engine. It should be able to tear up the Goodwood hill pretty good.

The CC100 will be joined on the ground with the new V12 Vantage S, the fastest accelerating Aston this side of the One-77 hyper car. Powered by a 573 hp and 620 Nm version of the 6.0 liter V12 engine, the powerful two-seater is capable of 205 mph and 0-60 mph in only 3.7 seconds.

Aston Martin Racing’s World Endurance Championship car – the Vantage GTE – driven on Saturday and Sunday by WEC racers Darren Turner and ex-F1 star Bruno Senna, will complete Aston’s show at this year’s GFOS.
