We hope you enjoyed the first episode of Infiniti Red Bull’s new series How to Make F1 Cars, because we have a new episode here, and it doesn’t sound terribly exciting. The car maker and the F1 team decided to share the secrets of making an F1 car with us, so we get a better idea why F1 is such an expensive sport.
And maybe we can learn something from these series. Not that you can build an F1 car in your shed using this information, but they may give you an edge in a pub argument, or on an internet forum. At any rate, enjoy the video:
Episode two, “Composites,” reveals the process the team uses to construct actual pieces of the car. Coming soon: Learn about manufacturing, and finally discover how the build of the car itself takes place in the assembly bays of our Milton Keynes HQ.
