After making sneakers, watches, sunglasses, and pretty much every other sort of apparel and accessory you can think of with a Porsche badge, the company’s merchandise department has now turned its attention to furniture, presenting the Porsche Office Collection.
Unlike most other Porsche-branded items on the market, these new stuff are actually pretty cool, as they are crafted from 911 car parts! You get an office chair made from a 911 Carrera sport seat and a wall shelf constructed from the rear spoiler of a 911 GT3 Cup Race car.
Loyal to the race car from which it comes, that shelving unit is made of carbon fiber, and while it weighs next to nothing, it can support up to 264 pounds. And as for the Porsche office chair, it is built to the same specifications and upholstered with the same premium black leather as the sport seat found in various 911 models. It even features an electronic backrest adjustment and an embossed Porsche emblem in the headrest.
Porsche Office Collection also includes a 1:8 scale resin model of the Porsche 918 Spyder which will be produced in a limited quantity of 918 pieces.
