Joining the magnificent Techart Grand GT at the tuner’s booth at 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show is a tricked-out version of the second-gen Porsche Cayman S, Type 981. Techart Porsche Cayman gets a styling kit, upgraded chassis, interior mods, but no engine treatment. At least not for now.
On the styling front, they offer that new rear spoiler II – manually adjustable in two stages, diffuser unit with central tailpipe, ide air channels at the rear wheel arches, mirror caps, and front spoiler with integrated splitter.
Completing the looks, and also improving the car’s handling, is a set of 21-inch Techart wheels. You can choose between classic 5-spoke Formula light-alloy, or twin-spoke Formula III forged wheels. Personalized finishes are available.
More technical bits include a Techart sport exhaust system that is electronically controlled and can be deployed at the touch of a button, turning the nice burble of the flat-six into a vicious bark, and sport spring kit that lower the ride height by as much as 35mm compared with the standard car.
Last but not least, Techart offers an interior package that includes rooflining in Alcantara, decorative stitching, painted or clear carbon trimming, and Techart 3-spoke sport steering wheel.
