A few weeks after the Pebble Beach Concourse d’Elegance, in which Jay Leno first encountered the Aston Martin CC100, the British sports car maker brought the concept, along with the Vanquish Volante, down to Jay’s Garage. This means we can now have an in-depth look at this astonishing car, and see it in action.

This car is one of the only two Aston Martin CC 100 customer cars produced at an undisclosed price. The base for this car is the V12 Vantage:

The 6.0-litre V12-powered concept car made its world debut by completing a lap of the famous Nordschleife at Germany’s ADAC Zurich 24 Hours of Nürburgring race. It is lapping the circuit together with the 1000km race-winning 1959 DBR1 with British racing legend Sir Stirling Moss at the wheel. It is the most tangible expression yet of the brand’s year-long 2013 centenary celebrations. With a carbon fiber body and 560 horsepower, the lightweight CC 100 goes from rest to 62 mph in a little over four seconds, while the top speed is limited to 180 mph.
