Looking at Jay Leno’s Garage, it is abundantly clear that the man is a huge Jaguar fan. So we were eagerly waiting for the new F-Type sports car to arrive at the Garage and here Jay’s verdict about it. Now it has done that, and it gets better, because there is also some footage of the Project 7 Concept in there.

The Jaguar F-Type Jay Leno drives in this video is the V8S version, which is the top of the line model powered by a 490 horsepower supercharged V8, fitted with all the bells and whistles available for the car. Despite that, a lot of experts agree that the best version of the car, all things considered, would be the V6S. It delivers 90 percent of the V8’s fun, and it’s a bit more economical and cheaper to buy.

As for the Project 7 Concept, the car may seem like a flight of fancy, but it actually previews an RS version of the F-Type which should come along some time over the next two or three years.
