Porsche released a new promotional video boasting its long and glorious history in making some of the world’s finest sports cars. Unlike what it may seem at first though, this is a teaser for the new Porsche Macan, the small crossover.

The car appears towards the end of the video, playing in some sand dunes in the desert:

The fact that Porsche mentions the Macan in the same breath as their sports cars could be a hint at the car’s fun and sporty character. They have already proved with the Cayenne that they know how to make a large utility vehicles handle. So it is only natural for the smaller, nimbler, Macan to act like a high-riding sports car.

Even if Porsche Macan is as ugly as its big brother, the Cayenne, Range Rover Evoque has plenty to be worried about.
