Things are going well enough at Bentley at the moment, for the top brass to start thinking about expanding the lineup a bit. And that is exactly what they are doing: pondering the possibility of launching an all-new Bentley model in form of a four-door coupe.

These cars seem to the way to go these days for luxury makers. A niche started by the Mercedes CLS was quickly copied by many other manufacturers, and now everybody wants one. The existence of such project is yet to be confirmed by the British firm, but designer Theophilus Chin has already come up with a design that shows you what a Bentley Four-Door Coupe may look like.

This speculative rendering is based on the Continental GT. What the artist has done here is stretch the car a little bit to make room for four doors, and of course, proper rear seats. We have to say it does look pretty cool, even if it’s too similar to the Flying Spur.

One big difference between this and the Flying Spear will be the price tag. The Bentley Four-Door Coupe will be a more mainstream product – by Bentley’s standards, at least – with a less powerful engine and a sportier character.
