Taking their partnership with popular TV series The Walking Dead to the next level, Hyundai announced the launch of a Tucson Walking Dead Special Edition model in America. The zombie-inspired limited edition model also celebrates the 10th Anniversary of The Walking Dead graphic novel series.
Visually, the Hyundai Tucson Walking Dead features Ash Black exterior with a subtle red accent graphics package and Special Edition exterior and interior badges. But it’s the practical equipment that set it apart really, such as the roof rack cross rails for carrying survival kit, mudguards, and special floor and cargo mats.
Speaking of survival kits, the car comes with its own kit – a Walking Dead 72-hour survivalist’s backpack – and a Walking Dead Tucson Quick Reference Guide. Custom vehicle decals that are familiar to the fans of the TV series are also included.
Hyundai Tucson Walking Dead Special Edition is powered by a 2.4-liter Theta II Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI), and comes fully-loaded with features, including LED taillights, dual automatic temperature control and a premium audio system with HD Radio technology. It also gets a modified version of the BlueLink infotainment system with a Walking Dead splash screen.
Pricing for the Hyundai Tucson Walking Dead Special Edition has not been revealed yet.
