Jaguar’s new SUV concept, the C-X17, made its Middle East debut at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show, wearing a very special Liquid Aluminum liquid metal finish. This is not a production color, and Jaguar C-X17 is not a production car. But both of them have received great feedback so far.
There is no doubt the C-X17 will soon be put into production as Jaguar’s first sport utility vehicle. They maintain it is a crossover, probably to lower our expectations about the car’s off-road capabilities, but with that bulk and those sizable tires, whichever way you cut it, the C-X17 is an SUV.
Be that as it may, Jaguar C-X17 will probably be one of the best handling cars in its segment. Jaguar has been obsessed with dynamics and handling recently, as it shows clearly with the F-Type, and all the R and GT variants of the XK and XF. Cayenne beware.
