Porsche confirmed the final members of its Task Force Los Angeles team headed to the city of angles for this year’s international motor show. You probably know that the Macan is one of them, as we’ve been banging on about it for weeks, and it will be joined by the 918 hyper car, Panamera Turbo S, and the 911 Turbo Cabriolet plus its S version.
Now, each one of these cars can carry the whole wait of a motor show on their own. Together, they make a dream team. The new Porsche Macan is going to be shown for the first time to the public in L.A. so it is the most exciting one. The specs will be announced during the show, but we can already tell you it comes in three models: Macan S, Macan Diesel, and Macan Turbo.
Then we have the amazing Porsche 918 Spyder hyper car. With looks to die for, 887 horsepower, 0 – 62 mph in 2.6 seconds and a standard level of fuel consumption of between 91 mpg and 94 mpg, the car is an absolute showstopper.
The new 11 Turbo Cabriolet and 911 Turbo S Cabriolet are not bad, either. Here we have a drop-top sports car that looks as if it’s designed for a Beverly Hills housewife, but has performance that drops the jaws of even the most experienced driver. A twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre six-cylinder engine delivers 520 hp (383 kW) in the 911 Turbo and 560 hp (412 kW) in the Turbo S is a force to be reckoned with. The same engine is used to power the new Panamera Turbo S, albeit with an extra 10 hp, and top speed of 192 mph.
