Not to be outdone by BMW, Mercedes, and a few other big names that have come up with exclusive concepts for the Gran Turismo 6 video game, Lexus told its designers to go away and not come back until they have something presentable. They seem to be almost there, as they just released this teaser sketch, previewing a Vision Gran Turismo concept.

The Lexus Gran Turismo concept, like its counterparts from other car makers, is a fictional concept designed only for the game. But it’s not all mad fantasy. These cars showcase the ambitions and desires of their respective brands in an unrestrained and exaggerated way.  If there were no rules in the world, this would be the Lexus we’d be driving.

The concept also has some features borrowed from Lexus production squeezed in for marketing reasons. The profile of the car reminds us most of all of the new RC Coupe, although the car itself appears to be based on the LF-LC concept, from which the production RC was spawned.
