First Production LaFerrari on Sale for 2.38 Million EUR

First Production LaFerrari 0 600x405 at First Production LaFerrari on Sale for 2.38 Million EUR

Due to their exclusivity, importance, and of course, price, you’d expect the cars like the McLaren P1 and the Ferrari LaFerrari to launch with more pomp and circumstance than Royal weddings. Not so. A few weeks ago the first McLaren P1 for sale showed up in Dubai, and now the first production LaFerrari is up for grabs in a German dealership.

The car is offered by SEMCO GmbH, and even though it has 200 km on the clock, they are asking 2,380,000 million Euros for it. The final price of the LaFerrari from the factory is, of course, undisclosed. But the highest number we heard was something like 1.3 million Euros. So SEMCO is looking for more than a million Euros in profit.

It sounds silly to pay that kind of money for the LaFerrari, but given the fact that this is the first unit offered for sale, and the car’s limited production run of just 499 units, we reckon it’ll be an easy sale for the owner. What’s more, cars like this are never going to depreciate. It’s a safer investment than real estate.

Exclusivity and price aside, the LaFerrari is an engineering masterpiece. The first production Ferrari with a hybrid engine is the fastest of the trio of the new hybrid hyper cars – McLaren P1, Porsche 918, and this – powered by a 960 horsepower V12-KERS unit that takes it from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds and on to a top speed of 350 km/h (limited).
