More and more car makers and tuners are launching double black and white versions of their new models these days, hoping, probably, to sell twice as many cars by appealing to the fans of brightness and darkness alike. Here’s Aston Martin’s B&W offerings, the DB9 Carbon Black & Carbon White, set for debut at the Geneva Motor Show.
These special edition versions of the lovely DB9 feature the standard 6.0-litre V12 engine with 517 PS and 620 Nm of torque. They are more about visual drama and cool styling than performance, and therefore come with carbon fibre side strakes and black window surrounds, and bespoke side sills with Carbon Black or Carbon White logo. The interiors are also finished in the same theme as the exterior.
On top of these there is the color, obviously, including the Carbon Black ll’ (Carbon Black) or ‘Stratus White’ (Carbon White). The paint work is accentuated with 20” forged 10-spoke Satin Black diamond turned wheels, and an exterior pack including splitter, diffuser, mirror caps and arms. Other little details include black mesh grilles, graphitic tailpipes, silver bonnet louvres, and brake claipers in grey, black, red, or yellow.
Aston Martin DB9 come with a 700W Premium Audio System with ‘Dolby Pro Logic ll’ with a B&O 1000W Sound System available as optional extra. Pricing is yet to be revealed.
