New Toyota Aygo to Debut Geneva Motor Show

Toyota Aygo Teaser 600x429 at New Toyota Aygo to Debut Geneva Motor Show

Toyota confirmed today the debut of an all-new version of its clever Aygo city car at the upcoming 2014 Geneva Motor Show. This car is a member of a trio made jointly by Toyota and PSA Peugeot Citroen, including the new Peugeot 108, and the yet to be revealed Citroen C1.

Details are limited, but in terms of specs and engines, the new Toyota Aygo should be similar to the 108. That means it’ll a three-cylinder, ultra-frugal engine, and a funky interior full of high-tech gadgets. In terms of design, however, the Toyota will probably play the role of the more mature cousin by boasting a grown up design that is the exact opposite of the 108’s happy-go-lucky looks.

2014 Geneva Motor Show will also see the European Premiere of Toyota’s hydrogen-powered FCV Concept, as well as the FV2, a future mobility concept. There is always a Toyota mobility concept at every major motor show.
