Porsche Macan Crossover is a direct rival for the Range Rover Evoque, which until now had the high-end luxury crossover market all to itself. So it is only natural that somewhere along the way Porsche drops two of the car’s doors and turn it into a three-door. The Evoque has a three-door version, and it’s been hugely successful.  

If Porsche decides to make a three-door Macan, chances are it’ll look very similar to these rendering you see here by Theophilus Chin. Either Chin has done a brilliant job with his renderings, or the Porsche Macan just works better as a three-door; what we are seeing here looks fantastic.

The idea of Porsche Macan Three-Door makes a lot of sense, not just because of its rivalry with the Evoque. The Macan is a sporty crossover, from a company that is known for making top-notch sports car. Everybody knows three doors are sportier than five!
