Switzer Performance, an expert in extracting insane amounts of horsepower out of relatively small engines, has been rather quiet lately. Now they are back, and they are introducing an upgrade kit for the Porsche 911 (997) Turbo’s flat-six engine which increases the output to over 900 horsepower.

The E911 Porsche flex-fuel package fitted to the Switzer Porsche 911 Turbo for a customer features the same turbochargers as the 1000-hp Sledgehammer project car and the same high-flow intercoolers and intakes. A bespoke Switzer stainless steel exhaust system is also included.

The engine also uses the latest version of Switzer’s flex-fuel injection system with stand-alone EMS to deliver a seamless transition between pump gas and E85 ethanol.

With a peak output of 950 horsepower and maximum torque of 800 pound-feet, Switzer Porsche 911 Turbo is a collection of staggering numbers. It does the quarter-mile in around 9 seconds at 150 mph, and it takes only 5 seconds to accelerate from 60 mph to 130 mph. The 0 to 60 time is so short it’s not even worth mentioning.

Visually, and apart from the black-on-black theme, the car appears pretty much stock. It does however feature a set of 19? HRE 597 R wheels with Toyo R888 tires, and H&R lowering springs.
