On the important occasion of the Super Bowl 2014, Paramount Pictures, the people behind the multi-billion dollar Transformers franchise, released a special teaser trailer for the upcoming movie, Age of Extinction. It sure does look very intriguing, if you are a fan of the comicbooks, or a fan of Mark Wahlberg, or if you like blondes. But we can’t help but think this is way too childish.
On the other hand, maybe that is the point. Nobody’s going to watch a Transformers movie for its plot. So it’s cool that there are cars in it that turn into robots, which then parachute into a city while shooting at buildings with massive machine guns for no obvious reason. Plus, the whole thing looks like a big Chevrolet commercial, which is fair enough, seeing as they dedicated their own spot to a good cause.
