There are a lot of incredibly exciting things about the new Ferrari LaFerrari, including the design, the KERS powertrain, and the fact that it is the most powerful of the trio of new generation hybrid hyper cars along with the Porsche 918 and McLaren P1. It’s all great, but one of the most important features of any Ferrari is the sound it makes.
If the car doesn’t sound good, then all the efforts with the power and performance and styling have been in vain. Luckily, the LaFerrari has got that covered, and then some. To put that in perspective, here’s a handy comparison between the old and the new Ferrari flagship models.
Crank up the speakers, it’s LaFerrari vs Enzo rev battle:
Only Ferrari can make a massive V12 engine, and one coupled to an electric motor no less, sing like this. Granted, this video has been made in a tunnel, which kinda amplifies the sound. But still, that’s one helluva soundtrack. The Enzo in this test is fitted with straight pipes, which makes things more interesting.
