QUANT e-Sportlimousine by NanoFLOWCELL AG is what the sports saloons of the future will, probably, look like. And it’s not just the design, either. The car features an innovative new electric powertrain that combines the benefits of accumulator cells and fuel cells system for better power and range than conventional systems.

NanoFLOWCELL QUANT e-Sportlimousine runs on liquid electrolytes are kept in two separate tanks. A membrane separates the two electrolytic solutions, but allows electrical charge to pass through. Then in a complicated and rather boring process, electricity is produced, which is then used to propel the car.

NanoFLOWCELL’s solution offers a much greater range than normal electric cars. The company claims a real-world range of 600 km (373 miles), which considering the fact that QUANT e-Sportlimousine is a big four-seater with substantial weight, is pretty impressive.

The concept car presented at the Geneva Motor Show features a futuristic design with details like gullwing doors, LED lights, 22-inch wheels, and double-double roof. It is finished in an equally futuristic Chrystal lake blue on the outside, while the interior settles for a more traditional combination of leather, wood, and copper.
