Bugatti Legends models, as you may know, are a series limited edition cars based on the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse that pay homage to the names Bugatti considers sacred. It’s a lineup of six cars, and so far they have revealed four of the, with the last one being the Rembrandt Edition unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and already sold out.
Now the first image of what is believed to the fifth Bugatti Legends model leak out, revealing a two-tone yellow and black paint work. It appears to be a tribute to Bijan, the legendary fashion guru who used to have a tallow/black Veyron when he was alive, but it isn’t. It is in fact dedicated to one of the first female racing drivers in the world, Elizabeth Junek.
Set for debut at the Beijing Auto Show, the Bugatti Vitesse Elizabeth Junek Edition features an all-black exterior garnished with yellow inset on the wings. The wheels too have a black base and yellow spokes. The interior meanwhile is finished completely in a chocolaty brown.
Mechanically, all Bugatti Legends models are based on the Vitesse, which is the fastest production open-top car in the world. It has a 1,200 horsepower W16 quad-turbo engine that gives it a top speed of 254 mph (408 km/h). Legend Edition Veyrons costs are limited to 3 units per legend, and they cost well over 2 million Euros.
