The 2014 Moab Easter Jeep Safari will kick off tomorrow, April 12, with a lineup of six new concept cars Jeep has prepared for this year’s event. We’ve already looked at the Wrangler Concepts, now let’s see check out the Jeep Cherokee Concepts headed for Moab.

There are only two Jeep Cherokee Concepts prepared for the 2014 Moab, which is fair enough, because there is only so much you can do with a small SUV such as this. We have the Cherokee Adventurer and the Cherokee Dakar.

Based on the Trailhawk 4×4, Jeep Cherokee Adventurer is an off-road monster featuring a 48:1 crawl ratio, and a host of Jeep Performance Parts from Mopar. It gets a tan exterior with black hood decals, 17-inch wheels and BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires, two-piece underbody skid plate, a front suspension skid plate, an oil tank skid plate and a two-piece fuel tank skid plate. Red tow hooks adorn the front.

As with other Jeep concepts, the interior features Katzkin leather upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, arm rest and shift boot.

Jeep Cherokee Dakar is the less extreme proposition here, with features such as Silver Steel Satin Gloss exterior with flame red graphics, 17-inch polished Satin clear coat wheels, and off-road fortification including rock rails, an oil pan skid plate, front suspension skid plate, two-piece fuel tank and underbody skid plates. The interior of the Dakar is garnished with Katzkin leather black seats with “Machined Gunmetal” inserts.

Performance-wise, the Dakar relies on crawl ratio 48:1, and estimated approach and departure angles are 32 and 39 degrees, as well as 33-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires.
