Ferrari LaFerrari Spotted Hanging Out in Monaco

Ferrari LaFerrari has not been officially launched yet – well, it has, but Ferrari is still reluctant to let the journalists have a go in it – but a juicy red example has just been spotted in Monaco. The car has a hawking presence that, even in the pictures, will make your jaw drop. Ours did.

With looks like that, and the fact this is the successor to the Enzo, you just don’t care if the McLaren P1 is faster, or if the Porsche 918 is a more of a technological masterpiece.  LaFerrari just grabs hold of your emotions, and shake them to bits. It is, without a question or shadow of doubt, the best-looking of the trio of the new hyper cars.

It’s not like that Ferrari LaFerrari is just about presence and looks and exclusivity. The car has a V12-KERS engine with 960 horsepower – more than P1 and 918 – and features Formula 1 technologies in its chassis, suspension, and electronics.

Performance figures are just as mind-bending as the appearances of the car. LaFerrari accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 2.5 seconds, and as for the top speed, it was initially set at 350 km/h to match the rivals. But now Ferrari has apparently decided they should have the upper hand, and increased it to 370.
