McLaren went to China to reveal their new model, an MSO version of the 650S. MSO stands for McLaren Special Operations, which makes bespoke and highly customized models for the brand’s special customers. The McLaren MSO 650S they have come up with features all the goodies available to order for the British super car.

Set to go on a tour of China, McLaren MSO 650S features a bespoke MSO body kit and a special paint Agrigan Black with a deep ruby red metallic flake paint job which shimmers like a mirage in direct sunlight. The kit consists of various carbon fiber accents, a prominent front splitter and air intakes, MSO carbon fiber side blades and MSO rear diffuser. The design of the new parts is inspired by GT3 racing cars.

For all its visual awesomeness, McLaren MSO 650S does not get any performance upgrade. But, the engine bay features satin black engine covers and a satin finish to all carbon fiber parts, which is cool, and the car gets a set of satin black lightweight alloys.

Inside the cabin this MSO 650 Concept comes with fixed-back carbon fiber racing seats, based on the lightweight design found in the McLaren P1, and more satin carbon fiber trim pieces. Furthermore, switchgear and bezels that are finished in contrasting gloss black.

McLaren MSO 650S is a show car to demonstrate the capabilities of the McLaren’s Special Operations unit. For now, you can only order the MSO side blades and rear diffuser, priced at £5,114 and £7,245 respectively. They fit both Coupe and Spider models.
